When speaking with our members, it seems that just about everyone knows somebody serving in our Armed Forces and deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan.  With some or our Chapter members, it’s a family member.  We have begun a program to send much needed goods to Nebraska troops serving in Iraq or Afghanistan.  We call it HOGS FOR HEROES, Care Packages from Frontier Bikers to Frontline Soldiers.  Here is how it works.

Visit our Frontier HOG Chapter website, www.frontierhog.com and click on the link "HOGS for HEROES."  That link will provide you with a list of suggested (acceptable) items and some Do’s and Don’ts about prohibited items.  This information is also listed on the window glass to the HOG Office inside the Frontier Harley-Davidson dealership, right above the “Drop Off” box.

Next time you’re out shopping, pick up a couple of items and drop them off at the dealership.  You’ll find that the vast majority of these items are very inexpensive.  We will handle the rest and you can be assured that these goods are put directly into the hands of our troops.  Yep, it’s that simple and our HOG Chapter picks up the shipping costs.  Don’t have time to shop?  Drop a FIVE spot in the box and we’ll pick the items up for you.
